![]() ![]() Shame about Andertons UK who washed their hands of the situation but you live and learn. Really nice guy and very helpful, just goes to show that good companies do care about their customers and I have nothing but good things to say. To update on my post above the Digitech Rep PM'd me and I now have a replacement Trio on my pedal board. Highly recommended by me (for what that's worth) whether you have a looper or not. The TRIO allows me to QUICKLY create drums and bass that are tailored to my rhythmic/melodic patterns and I have already had hours of (simpleton) fun. ![]() I got a Ditto Looper when they first came out and used the same setup except with a drum machine. Like others here have already said, using simpler patterns for the TRIO learning process lessens confusion for the TRIO. I put the TRIO on a table top near me and use the foot switch for for everything possible (except for switching genres). ![]() The nice thing about this setup (for me anyway ) is that I have everything (including the miked amp) running through the mixer. This seems to work pretty well and I can send the Looper pattern to a digital recorder if I want. When the Looper is in playback mode, I'm hearing the TRIO and rhythm guitar through the studio monitors. When I have the TRIO pattern I want, I can hit the Ditto Looper and "record" the TRIO along with whatever rhythm guitar pattern I play. So, I can play an un-effected signal right into TRIO (while hearing effected signal), create my bass and drums and listen to them through the monitors. The mixer outputs to a pair studio monitors. I have an original Ditto Looper in the AUX out and in of the mixer. The mixer out (of TRIO) goes to an input of small mixer. My set up is guitar right to TRIO, amp out (of TRIO) to pedal board then to a miked amp. I've had a TRIO and FS3X foot switch for about a week now. ![]()
